Guwahati, July 16 -- Assam's rising para cycling star Lisha Das has been selected to represent India at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland, making her the youngest member of the Indian contingent. The 16-year-old will compete in the Para Track Cycling event.

A Class XI student of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Biswanath, Lisha is a native of Tezpur and the daughter of Nirmal Das and Rukmini Bhumij Das. Born on June 8, 2010, she has carved a niche for herself in para cycling through exceptional grit and determination, competing with the use of only one arm.
