Guwahati, July 22 -- The Election Commission on Tuesday issued the draft electoral roll for Arunachal Pradesh after completing the Special Intensive Revision (SIR), with 1,69,459 names excluded following the month-long enumeration exercise.

Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Pawan Kumar Sain said the state had 8,87,505 registered electors as of June 2, 2026.

During the verification drive, 7,18,046 voters, accounting for 80.91 per cent of the electorate, submitted their enumeration forms before July 14. All the forms received have since been digitised.

Based on the completed verification process, the draft electoral roll now contains the names of 7,18,046 electors.
