Guwahati, April 17 -- After the state government's announcement, the self-enumeration stage of the houselisting and housing census for Census 2027 started on Thursday, April 16, across Arunachal Pradesh.

This phase will continue until April 30, allowing residents to submit household details through the self-enumeration system using official platforms.

Once this stage ends, fieldwork under the houselisting and housing census will begin on May 1 and continue until May 30. During this period, trained enumerators will visit homes across the state to collect and verify information.
