Arunachal govt plans to operationalise Indo-Myanmar border trade route in three years

Guwahati: Arunachal Pradesh Trade and Commerce Minister Nyato Dukam on Wednesday said the state government was working towards operationalising the Indo-Myanmar border trade route and related port facilities within the next three years.
Dukam made the remarks during a visit to the Land Customs Station (LCS) near Hellgate Bridge, where he reviewed existing infrastructure and assessed prospects for the development of border trade in the region.
The minister was accompanied by MLA Laisam Simai and other officials as part of an official tour along the Indo-Myanmar border.
The delegation also visited the Border Haat at Pangsau Pass, considered an important point for promoting cross-border trade and region...
