Guwahati, July 16 -- Arunachal Pradesh's 2026-27 budget priorities came under review as Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein on Tuesday directed government departments to accelerate the execution of key schemes and ensure that projects announced in the state budget are carried out efficiently.

Holding the finance portfolio, Mein assessed the implementation status of budget-backed initiatives across departments and took stock of the progress made on ongoing works.

He called for faster execution of major flagship programmes, including the Chief Minister's Rural Development Programme and the Chief Minister's Comprehensive Power Development Programme.
