Dibrugarh, April 15 -- One Over Ground Worker (OGW) cadre of ULFA-I was apprehended in Arunachal Pradesh's Longding district on Wednesday.

Longding police in collaboration with 24 Assam Rifles (AR) and ECIB Longding apprehended the cadre.

The individual has been identified as Dhoroni Mech alias Bashanta Asom(26) of Kutuha under Barbaruah police station in Dibrugarh district.

The arrest was made at Hotel Taham, located in Labour Shed Colony, Longding.

The individual was brought to Longding Police Station for initial interrogation. During the operation, several items were recovered from his possession, including ATM cards, a Voter ID, PAN card, a mobile handset, and SIM cards.
