Dibrugarh: Two diversion tunnels of the 2800 MW Dibang Multipurpose Project were inaugurated on Wednesday, marking a key milestone in one of India's largest hydroelectric ventures.

The tunnels, constructed by Larsen & Toubro (L&T Construction), are expected to accelerate the pace of dam construction.

Narendra Kumar, Executive Director of the Dibang Multipurpose Project, thanked L&T Construction for completing the work within the stipulated time. He said the completion of the tunnels would significantly hasten overall project execution.
