India, March 25 -- Authorities in Arunachal Pradesh's Papum Pare district have formed special monitoring teams to oversee the distribution and supply of LPG cylinders as well as petroleum products, officials confirmed on March 24.
This step has been taken to curb illegal practices such as hoarding and black marketing, while also making sure that essential fuel supplies remain consistently available throughout the district.
As per an official order, the decision to establish these teams comes in response to the current global energy supply conditions, with the aim of tightening supervision over the movement and availability of LPG and petroleum, oil, and lubricants (POL).
