Guwahati, Oct. 7 -- Arunachal Pradesh Women and Child Development Minister Dasanglu Pul on Tuesday met Union Minister Annapurna Devi in New Delhi and discussed measures to strengthen women and child welfare programmes in the state.

The two ministers reviewed ongoing initiatives and discussed women-led development, child protection, nutrition and early childhood care, Pul said in a social media post.

They also discussed expanding opportunities for women and adolescent girls and strengthening measures for their safety, welfare and empowerment across Arunachal Pradesh.

Pul reaffirmed the state government's commitment to improving the implementation of welfare schemes and ensuring their benefits reach people at the grassroots.
