Pasighat, July 7 -- Mebo MLA Oken Tayeng on Monday distributed seven grass cutters to community organisations and youth groups from Arunachal Pradesh's Ayeng and Kiyit villages to support village cleanliness and environmental conservation.

The distribution programme was held at Ayeng village under the Mebo Sub-Division in the presence of senior administrative officials, local leaders and village elders.

The beneficiaries included Regam Sirum, Baba-II Sirum, Mitet Sirum, Mijin Sirum, Top Sirum, Yameng Lepang Sirum from Ayeng village and Siyon Sirum from Kiyit village.

According to the organisers, the grass cutters were funded by individuals from the Mebo area, including Liyon Borang, Gobo Yirang, Bomni Tayeng, Bomyem Tayeng, Milorai Mod...
