Guwahati, July 2 -- The Human Rights of Arunachal (HRA), a civil society organisation in Arunachal Pradesh, has sought clarity from the Indian Army and the Nah Welfare Society (NWS) over conflicting claims regarding the alleged presence of Chinese forces in the Taksing sector of Upper Subansiri district.

In a statement issued on Thursday, HRA Chairman Dr. Kipa Kaha and Secretary General Jesy Debia expressed concern over the contradictory assertions, saying they have created confusion among the public on a matter linked to national security. The organisation called for both sides to present verified facts and ensure transparency.
