India, March 17 -- Four people were killed and three others injured after a major mudslide struck a construction site in the Niti Vihar area of Itanagar on Monday evening.
The incident occurred when a portion of land suddenly caved in at a private residence where a retaining wall was under construction, trapping several people under a massive pile of mud and debris.
Itanagar Deputy Commissioner Toko Babu confirmed that all the bodies of the victims have been recovered following a rescue operation carried out by the authorities.
