Guwahati, Aug. 15 -- The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has provisionally attached two properties belonging to Nyakpo Yangfo in Arunachal Pradesh.

The properties, valued at Rs 2.69 crore, are linked to alleged irregularities in compensation paid for land acquired for the Lada-Sarli Frontier Highway Project.

The ED's Itanagar Sub-Zonal Office took the action under the Prevention of Money-Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002, as part of its investigation into compensation-related irregularities under Packages IV and V of the project.

The properties comprise a 7,950-square-metre plot in Taraso village, valued at Rs 1.59 crore, and 3,440 square metres of land with two fish ponds in Chessa village, assessed at Rs 1.10 crore.
