Arunachal: BRO completes strategic 180-foot Bailey bridge in Kurung Kumey
Guwahati, July 2 -- The Border Roads Organisation (BRO) has completed a strategically significant 180-foot Bailey bridge in Arunachal Pradesh's remote Kurung Kumey district, improving connectivity to border areas and facilitating the movement of troops, supplies and civilians.
Constructed in one of the state's most challenging terrains, the bridge was completed despite persistent monsoon rains, difficult weather conditions, and logistical constraints. The structure replaces a damaged crossing and restores an important transportation link connecting isolated frontier villages with the rest of the region.
