Guwahati, July 29 -- Arunachal Pradesh has commissioned the 132 kV Miao-Namsai transmission line, a major power infrastructure project aimed at improving electricity reliability in Changlang district and neighbouring areas, Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein announced on Wednesday.

The nearly 41-km transmission line links Namsai, Diyun and Miao and has been developed under the Comprehensive Scheme for Strengthening of Transmission and Distribution System (CSST&DS), a centrally approved initiative to modernise power infrastructure in Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim.
