Guwahati, Nov. 2 -- Fight Against Injustice of APSC has alleged that 74 additional officers selected through the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) examination in 2013 remain under suspicion, citing findings in a Special Investigation Team (SIT) report that allegedly exposed serious irregularities in the recruitment process.

Addressing a press conference on Sunday, Manash Pratim Baruah, representing Fight Against Injustice of APSC, said a report submitted by Assam Police CID's Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Munna Prasad Gupta to the Home and Political Department on June 22, 2024, contained significant findings about alleged manipulation of answer scripts and other irregularities in the APSC recruitment process.
