AISA claims Delhi police picked up Neha Bora in unmarked vehicle
Guwahati, Oct. 4 -- Members of the All India Students' Association (AISA) on Sunday claimed that Delhi Police picked up the organisation's national president Neha Bora in a private vehicle without an official number plate during a protest march against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar near Jantar Mantar.
AISA members alleged that Bora was taken to an unknown location and that no woman police officer was present inside the vehicle. They described the alleged action as a violation of established procedure.
There was no immediate reaction from the Delhi Police to the allegations, reported agencies.
The incident occurred as AISA activists attempted to reach Jantar Mantar for the third consecutive day to demand Kumar's resignation....
