Imphal, April 21 -- Manipur was jolted by a 5.2-magnitude earthquake early on Tuesday.

The tremor struck at 5.59 a.m., with its epicentre located in Kamjong district.

Tremors were felt in several parts of the state, including Imphal and neighbouring Ukhrul district, and were also reported from parts of Meghalaya and Assam.

There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage, officials said.
