India, Aug. 12 -- Renewed clashes around Yemen's Al Mokha have forced the International Rescue Committee (IRC) to suspend field movements along the country's west coast, disrupting aid delivery as fears grow that escalating violence could undermine a fragile four-year truce.
Attacks Disrupt Humanitarian Work
Recent strikes in and around Al Mokha have hit densely populated civilian areas, prompting the IRC to temporarily halt field operations and staff movement in the west coast. The disruption has limited the organisation's ability to reach communities dependent on humanitarian assistance.
