India, Aug. 31 -- Aid cuts and long journeys delay treatment
Malnourished children in Yemen are increasingly reaching hospitals in critical condition, with shrinking humanitarian services forcing families to travel farther for lifesaving treatment, Doctors Without Borders, also known as Medecins Sans Frontieres, has warned.
The medical charity said years of conflict and economic decline have left children facing alarming levels of malnutrition, while sweeping cuts in humanitarian funding have reduced access to nutrition and health services, particularly in northern Yemen.
