India, Sept. 16 -- The humanitarian situation in Yemen is deteriorating as escalating conflict forces families to flee their homes, leaving many without basic necessities and placing additional strain on already stretched services, CARE said on September 15.
Displacement rises in Aden
CARE Yemen Country Director Iman Abdullahi said the growing displacement is visible in Aden, where nearly 60 newly displaced families had gathered at one location, compared with around 10 tents just two days earlier. More families were continuing to arrive.
