India, July 21 -- A sharp rise in settler violence and related displacement in the occupied West Bank has forced more than 1,000 Palestinian children from their homes so far in 2026, according to Save the Children, which has urged immediate international action to protect affected families.

Escalating displacement Save the Children said the number of children displaced by settler violence and access restrictions has crossed 1,000 this year, reflecting a worsening humanitarian situation across the West Bank. The organisation said repeated attacks, intimidation and movement restrictions have uprooted families, particularly in rural and herding communities, leaving children exposed to fear, instability and the loss of essential services.
