India, Aug. 14 -- July recorded 183 child casualties in Ukraine, marking the highest monthly toll since April 2022 as intensified attacks continue to expose children and families to mounting danger.
Child Casualties Surge
According to the latest figures cited by Save the Children from the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, 17 children were killed and 166 injured in July. The total of 183 casualties represents a 50% increase from June, when 123 child casualties were recorded.
