India, Aug. 19 -- From rural Alabama to New York's Bronx, community health providers are finding that building trust with patients is essential to improving access to immunizations and infectious disease services. Leaders from two health centers shared their experiences at a recent community health conference, highlighting how local relationships, culturally responsive outreach and bringing care closer to residents can overcome barriers.
