India, July 15 -- Migrant workers across Lebanon are increasingly finding themselves immobilized as intensifying hostilities leave them without safe evacuation routes or financial resources. Many lack the transportation or savings required to flee active danger zones. Consequently, families are forced to stay in high risk areas or travel through insecure territory because safe alternatives simply do not exist.

Barriers to Escape Legal protections are limited because employers often hold onto worker identity documents.
