India, Sept. 24 -- The sale of Israel Bonds in Europe has ended after the prospectus governing their issuance expired on 31 August 2026, with Luxembourg's financial regulator declining to approve its renewal for another year, Amnesty International said.
Luxembourg Rejects Renewal
The Central Bank of Ireland confirmed that the European sale of the bonds ended following the expiry of the prospectus. Ireland had served as the programme's "home member state" since 2021, allowing the bonds to be offered within the European Economic Area.
