India, Sept. 7 -- At least 51 people were killed and nearly 100 injured in Kyiv and surrounding areas between August 27 and September 3 as intense Russian missile and drone strikes continued to hit residential areas and civilian infrastructure, Doctors Without Borders/Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) said.
Civilian areas hit by attacks
MSF said attacks during the week struck residential buildings, medical facilities and warehouses containing pharmaceuticals, food and other goods. The organisation condemned the strikes, saying attacks on civilian infrastructure violate international humanitarian law.
