India, Aug. 10 -- A Russian strike on Dnipro on August 7 severely damaged one of Ukraine's largest pharmaceutical warehouses, putting vital medicines and medical supplies used by humanitarian organisations at risk, according to the International Rescue Committee (IRC). The fire was still burning when the IRC issued its statement, leaving the full extent of the losses unclear.
Critical Medical Supplies at Risk
The warehouse serves as a major storage hub for medicines used to treat chronic illnesses and supplies required for intensive care units, surgery departments and emergency services.
