India, Oct. 28 -- Plan International said on Oct. 27, 2026 that its Members’ Assembly has appointed Mr Elhadj As Sy as the new Chair of Plan International Inc.’s International Board and Members’ Assembly, with the appointment taking effect on Jan. 1, 2027.

Plan International said Mr Elhadj As Sy will assume the chair role on Jan. 1, 2027.
The organisation described Mr Elhadj As Sy as bringing global leadership and vision in humanitarian, development and health organisations, including service as Secretary General of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
