India, Sept. 7 -- Direct Relief has dispatched multiple shipments of medicines and medical supplies to Nepal as communities continue to face health needs following devastating flash floods that killed more than 1,200 people and displaced thousands.
Major Medical Supplies Sent to Nepal
The latest shipment, sent to local partner Mountain Heart Nepal, includes antibiotics, IV fluids, chronic disease medicines, wound care supplies and personal protective equipment. Another shipment reached Dhulikhel Hospital on September 3 with medical supplies, field medic packs for first responders and hygiene items for displaced people.
