India, Aug. 3 -- Communities in Yemen's Lahj governorate are taking a central role in identifying climate threats and designing practical adaptation measures through a participatory planning approach that places local knowledge at the heart of resilience efforts.

Local residents, including women, youth and community leaders, participated in structured planning sessions to identify the environmental challenges affecting their villages.
