Meeting to assess deportation plans
European governments are facing criticism over plans to establish so-called "return hubs" outside Europe, with Amnesty International warning that facilities in Rwanda and Uganda could expose migrants and asylum seekers to serious human rights violations. Austria, Denmark, Germany, Greece and the Netherlands are due to discuss progress on the plans at a meeting on September 4.
