Ebola in the Democratic Republic of the Congo: Action Against Hunger Warns of Virus Impact on Communities
New York, May 19 -- Kinshasa/New York 18 May 2026 - Following the confirmation of Ebola cases in Ituri province in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the World Health Organization has declared an international health emergency. Action Against Hunger is warning of the consequences of this outbreak for communities already weakened by the ongoing conflict.
