India, July 22 -- Catholic Relief Services (CRS) has received $60 million in funding from the United States Department of State to expand humanitarian assistance in Cuba, enabling the organisation to deliver food, hygiene supplies and other essential support to families facing severe economic hardship.
Aid targets vulnerable households
According to CRS, the funding will support the distribution of food and hygiene kits through trusted local Catholic Church networks across Cuba.
