India, July 30 -- Despite a ceasefire remaining formally in place, humanitarian conditions across Gaza continue to deteriorate, with civilians facing hunger, displacement and limited access to essential services, according to the Danish Refugee Council (DRC).
Life Still Defined by Crisis
The DRC said the pause in large scale fighting has not translated into meaningful improvements for Palestinians, many of whom remain displaced and struggle to secure food, clean water, healthcare and shelter. Families continue to live in overcrowded camps or damaged buildings, while destroyed infrastructure has slowed any return to normal life.
