India, July 24 -- Amnesty International has called on Ghanaian authorities to urgently enact legislation criminalising witchcraft accusations, saying years of delay have left hundreds of vulnerable women without adequate legal protection since the fatal lynching of 90-year-old Akua Denteh in 2020.
