Valley of Flowers reopens for Tourists in Uttarakhand
New Delhi, June 2 -- The UNESCO World Heritage-listed Valley of Flowers in Uttarakhand's Chamoli district has reopened to tourists, marking the beginning of its annual bloom season. Known for its rich biodiversity and breathtaking alpine landscapes, the valley is home to more than 300 species of flowers, including several rare varieties of flora.
The Forest Department has appealed to visitors to support conservation efforts and help preserve the valley's fragile ecosystem. Forest Range Officer Chetna Kandpal said that the Valley of Flowers will remain open to tourists until October 31.
