New Delhi, April 25 -- The U.S. Treasury Department on Friday is sanctioning multiple wallets tied to Iran, thereby freezing $344 million in cryptocurrency.

In a statement on X., Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said the move is part of an ongoing effort by the Trump administration to cut off funding sources to the Iranian government, including a military blockade, amid attempts to restart diplomatic talks aimed at ending the war with Tehran.
