New Delhi, Aug. 12 -- Tesla on Monday opened its second showroom in India, located in Delhi's Aerocity, as the U.S.-based electric vehicle maker ramps up presence ahead of its first deliveries in September.
The company is also expanding its charging infrastructure, with supercharging stations planned in Gurugram and Noida, Regional Director for Southeast Asia Isabel Fan said at the launch.
The new outlet follows Tesla's India debut last month in Mumbai. The Delhi showroom allows visitors to explore the latest Tesla EV models introduced for the Indian market.
Led by CEO Elon Musk, Tesla is making a strategic push into India as part of its broader Asia expansion.
