New Delhi, March 19 -- Defence Minister Rajnath Singh today inaugurated the National Defence Industries Conclave 2026 in New Delhi, focusing on advanced manufacturing technologies and strengthening India's defence production ecosystem.

The two-day conclave at the Manekshaw Centre aims to strengthen the integration of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises into defence manufacturing.

It also aims to promote the adoption of advanced technologies such as automation, artificial intelligence, robotics, and smart materials.
