New Delhi, April 27 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Gangtok today on a two-day visit to Sikkim. Mr Modi will take part in the closing ceremony of 50 years of Sikkim's statehood at Paljor Stadium and inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of multiple projects worth 4,000 crore rupees during his visit.
Upon his arrival, Prime Minister will take part in a road show from Biralu Dwar to MG Marg this afternoon. Later, he will interact with the BJP workers. The Sikkim government will present a grand cultural event themed '1000 Steps of Unity', involving nearly 1500 artists. Mr Modi will also address the gathering at the Paljor Stadium.
