PM Modi inaugurates Alluri Sitarama Raju Airport
New Delhi, Aug. 1 -- Andhra Pradesh received a major infrastructure boost as Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated the Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport and launched key infrastructure projects across the state.
Developed under the Public-Private Partnership model at a cost of over Rs.5,640 crore, the state-of-the-art greenfield airport is designed to handle 6 million passengers annually. It will strengthen connectivity for North Andhra and open new avenues for tourism, trade, investment, and employment.
