New Delhi, July 21 -- The Government has debunked several social media posts claiming that the police forces used pellet guns against those who are protesting over the alleged NEET-UG 2026 paper leak, in New Delhi yesterday. The Government also refuted several social media claims, alleging that batons fitted with nails were used by the Police against protesters. The fact check unit of the Press Information Bureau has clarified that these claims are fake.
