New Delhi, May 27 -- Japanese Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi called on PM Modi in New Delhi on Tuesday with both sides reaffirming the importance of the India-Japan Special Strategic and Global Partnership for peace, stability and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific region and beyond.

Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong also met Prime Minister Modi in New Delhi. The two leaders reviewed the growing India-Australia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, focusing on defence, trade, technology and supply chain resilience, while reiterating commitment to a free, open, secure and prosperous Indo-Pacific.
