New Delhi, March 7 -- Israel has launched a new wave of "broad-scale" strikes on Tehran and central Iran. Israel Defense Forces said more than 80 fighter jets targeted Iranian military sites, missile launchers, and other installations, including an academy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps described as being used as an emergency asset.

Following the strikes, the IDF detected another round of Iranian missile fire headed toward Israel after explosions were heard in the commercial hub of Tel Aviv. Israel stated that Iran had launched cluster bombs multiple times since the start of the conflict.
