India Wins Fifth Medal at Commonwealth Games
New Delhi, July 28 -- India won its fifth medal at the ongoing Commonwealth Games in Scotland, with Gyaneshwari Yadav securing silver in the 53kg weightlifting category.
The Khelo India athlete achieved a total lift of 199kg, including 88kg in snatch and 111kg in clean and jerk. Her clean and jerk performance was also a personal best.
With Gyaneshwari's silver medal, India's tally at the Commonwealth Games has reached five medals so far - one gold, three silver and one bronze.
