India, Belgium sign MoUs on key cooperation areas
New Delhi, Sept. 3 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever held delegation-level talks today at Hyderabad House in New Delhi.
The meeting is the centrepiece of De Wever's three-day official visit, his first to India since taking office and the first by a Belgian premier in nearly two decades. The two sides reviewed the full span of bilateral relations, including trade, investment, defence, technology and connectivity, and discussed regional and global issues of mutual interest. The talks also form part of a broader effort to deepen India-Europe engagement, including through the India-EU partnership. De Wever was accompanied by Defence and Foreign Trade Minister Theo Francken.
