New Delhi, Feb. 5 -- The India Meteorological Department has issued today's forecast and warnings, with rain, snowfall, dense fog, and cold conditions affecting several regions.

The IMD forecasts that isolated to scattered rainfall and snowfall are likely today over Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Muzaffarabad. Other parts of the western Himalayas remain under close watch.

Meanwhile, no major change is expected in minimum temperatures over northwest India, except Uttar Pradesh, where a gradual fall has begun. Central and East India may see a slight dip in temperatures over the next 24 to 48 hours.
