New Delhi, June 11 -- The Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) plans to facilitate investments worth one lakh crore rupees in West Bengal through its member companies, reflecting growing industry confidence in the state's economic potential and growth prospects.

The proposal was discussed during a meeting in New Delhi between an ICC delegation led by its President, Brij Bhushan Aggarwal and Union Minister Jitendra Singh. The chamber said West Bengal is witnessing renewed optimism and positive momentum, which could help accelerate economic growth and strengthen its position as an attractive destination for investment.
