New Delhi, Feb. 27 -- In the ICC Men's T20 World Cup, India defeated Zimbawe by 72 runs in a crucial Super Eight match at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai last night. Chasing a huge target of 257 runs set by India, the Sikandar Raza led Zimbawe managed to score 184 runs at the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs. Opening batter Brian Bennett's unbeaten innings of 97 runs went in vain. For India, Harshdeep Singh bagged highest 3 wickets. Earlier, Zimbawe won the toss and opted to bowl. Batting first, the Suryakumar Yadav led Men in Blue scored 256 for 4 in the stipulated 20 overs. Hardik Pandya remained unbeaten at 50 runs, while Tilak Verma also made 44 runs to give India a strong finish.
